Courtney Stormann, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and build resilience. I work with clients as young as age 3 through young adulthood, providing a warm, supportive, and developmentally appropriate space where each individual can feel seen, heard, and understood.
My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, meaning I prioritize creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. I integrate evidence-based practices including TF-CBT, EMDR, play therapy, and sand tray therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. These approaches allow me to support children and young people in processing trauma, managing emotions, and developing healthy coping skills in ways that feel natural and engaging.
In addition to working directly with children and young adults, I partner closely with parents and caregivers. I believe that supporting the whole family system is essential for lasting change, and I offer guidance, education, and collaboration to help caregivers feel confident in supporting their child’s growth and emotional well-being.
